Hi there, and welcome to my blog. I decided to start this blog to write about topics important to me. I am a History Major at the University of Maryland and enjoy reading, writing and talking about many topics in American History and Political Science.
I also write and perform folk music throughout the Baltimore, MD area. My music is often inspired from social issues of the 21st century and I try to use it to raise awareness. I have performed at coffee houses throughout the area and have also led music for middle and high school youth retreats. Many of my friends have jokingly told me I live about 40 years in the past since my favorite musical group is Peter, Paul & Mary, I love learning about the Kennedy administration, and I drive a PT Cruiser. Maybe I'm a bit of a hippie, but I love life and learning.
